“Consider my recent release of nine musically diverse tracks entitled ‘Fearless Expedition‘. My musical journey began at the tender age of 10. Music has always been more than just a career for me; it’s a calling, my greatest passion, accompanying me for over six decades.
As a jazz trumpeter and flugelhorn instrumentalist specializing in improvisational solos, I started honing my craft in middle school and continued through high school. My professional career then took me across the U.S. and overseas, where I shared stages with renowned artists. These experiences not only sharpened my skills through memorable performances but also enriched my soul.
My academic pursuits at three different universities immersed me in a diverse range of musical styles: from 16th-century Palestrina to 18th-century Bach chorales, string quartets, big band jazz, and jazz quartets, through the electronic revolution of the 70s and the pioneering days of MIDI in the 80s, up to today’s AI technology. These experiences led to writing songs for legends like Freddie Hubbard and a career highlight: co-writing ‘I’m Gonna Hold You Again’ with Grammy-nominated songwriter Allan Rich, known for ‘Run to You’ in Whitney Houston’s film ‘The Bodyguard’.
In 2017, I funneled this rich tapestry of experiences into founding MASHENE Music Group, LLC in Las Vegas. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to create unique, original music that resonates with audiences and empowers supporters through “Royalty-Free” and “Shared Publishing Revenue“.
